Full Description:Our client are a specialist consultancy Company servicing projects throughout the British Isles in the; Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Services and Manufacturing sectors. Their Client Services include: Innovation, Lean and Business Process Re-engineering, Transformation and Change Management, Financial and Strategic Services. Due to continued expansion in Ireland and the UK, they are currently recruiting for Senior Consultants in their Lean Business and Operations Division. The successful candidates will have a depth of skills and experience in the following areas; Lean and Six Sigma Business Solutions (Lean Black Belt). Supply chain management. Productivity and work analysis initiatives. Business re-structuring and re-organisation. Return to profitability. Organisation and growth frameworks and Supporting related investment and funding initiatives. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows: Act as a mentor and coach to Managers and key members of staff to give them the confidence and commitment to drive sustainable continuous improvement in the organisation. Use expertise in the application of Lean and Change Management tools and techniques to interpret and apply the appropriate methods to deliver business improvement in line with the site strategy. Ability to be pragmatic, resilient and innovative in problem solving and issue resolution. The standard of project delivery and ensuring that stated objectives are achieved and setting foundations for expansion and growth on a client by client basis. The role requires an understanding of the dynamics of the product offerings and the market and that modifications and improvements will be required on an on-going basis. The commercial delivery of targets including achieving sales. Responsibility for all personnel associated with the delivery of the projects and will be required to comply with the Project Manager role. Manage the client relationship and other third party relationships to ensure excellence, a focus on results and contribution to expansionary activity. The successful candidate will have a primary degree with significant post graduate training in operations and lean and have held a senior operations manager/director role for at least five years.

Full Description:Our client is a software development and contact centre multinational company with a base in Co. Donegal. Currently they have a 9 month full-time temporary contract for a Senior/Technical Business Manager. This position requires a Project Management professional to be part of a core team in the US responsible for advising, facilitating and liaising with the company’s BU’s and Service Providers on behalf of GBTS’s Global Sourcing Office.Whilst the successful candidate would be expected to have a strong project management and metrics background, the focus of the role is on communication / leadership ability. Therefore the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience operating at a management level in a large (preferably multi-national) organization. This role will partner with business units and corporate functions to facilitate an enterprise off-shoring strategy and support individual business units with their strategy. The incumbent will act as a change agent, identifying, recommending and implementing changes based on business needs. They will also work closely with the Director’s of Enterprise Vendor Governance to create best practice standards around risk mitigation, performance management and value creation to leverage enterprise spend and drive more strategic relationships where expected value is achieved and sustained. Qualifications: BA degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. MBA a plus. Strong leadership, managing vision and purpose, communicating in challenging circumstances (written, verbal and presentation), interpersonal savvy/patience, problem solving and relationship management skills. Ability to influence peers and senior managers in partner organizations and to work across organizations to gain buy-in and build consensus to deliver on objectives. A background or exposure to large vendor assessments as part of large deals including RFP design and selection, contract negotiation tactics and strategies. Experience or knowledge of risk management related disciplines. Some business related travel required. Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking skills, along with strong business acumen and analytical capabilities. A background in processes like ITIL, CMMi, project management, or Six Sigma is a plus. Specific Experience: 10-15 years overall experience with 5 to 10 years of application technology, business operations and management experience. Recognized leader in offshore program management with 5+ year experience in sourcing and vendor management including designing overall engagement frameworks, pricing, delivery structures, portfolio management, performance management, cost management and benchmarking, and defining governance and control mechanisms, process mapping and analysis, and cost benefit analysis. Strong analytical background. Experience and record of delivery at this level of operation is required. Strong business acumen, financial acumen and project management skills. Insurance or Financial services experience would be a distinct advantage. There will be a requirement to tracel to the US from time to time.
